On Monday night we celebrated Passover at Ilana and David's house. It was so nice of them to ask us to be a part of their seder. It was also Truman's first Passover Seder, and although he did not find the Afikomen, his aunt Luscia had a gift for him. Unfortunately we had to leave before dessert was served as poor Truman was tired and was ready for bed. He was a very good boy up to that point and had a lot of fun sitting in Grandma's (previously known as Wawa) lap. Jerry and I had to take turns eating our dinner and entertaining our son!
On Tuesday, Jerry decided to take the day off work and spent it with Truman and I. Jerry was so excited to take Truman to Gymboree, even though Truman was coming down with a little cold. Jerry had a lot of fun playing with Tdot, singing songs and mingling with the other mothers!
Tuesday night Truman had his second Passover Seder at Grandma's house. I've attached a picture of Truman, Jerry, and Michal at dinner. As well, here's a picture of Baba feeding Truman. I think Baba enjoys feeding Truman as much as Truman likes to be fed by Baba. It is really nice to watch!
Truman's new favourite "word" to say is "oh"....I had to capture it in a picture, because it is so adorable to watch him round out his lips and jut them out to say "oh". He loves to just say it over and over again. Now, when will he say mom!
Tonight Truman, Jerry and I went to the Sullivan's for a nice get together to see CK and Alex. Katie and Jamie were also in attendance. We ordered some pizza and had a yummy salad. Truman's cold seemed to be getting worse as the night went on and his eye kept gushing (I felt so sorry for him). Unfortunately, CK and Alex's flight was delayed in Cincinnati so Truman and I were only able to see them for a moment as they arrived just as we were leaving. It took Truman a little while to fall asleep once we got home (he would not let me leave his side for a second). He's now fast asleep and in dreamland.
Tomorrow Pat, Tina and my parents are coming over for an Easter Brunch.
Happy Easter Everyone! It's good to celebrate both holidays!
