Two Months and Two Weigh Ins

I desperately need for time to slow down, how is it possible that Oliver is now two months and Truman is three years old? Oliver is growing is so quickly and seems to have changed overnight. Where did my sleepy baby go? He has been spending more and more time alert, watching and taking everything in, a very observant child. Oliver has also been sleeping in longer chunks at night, at times giving me anywhere between six and eight hours of continuous sleep.

On Wednesday I took both boys to the doctor for their check ups. Truman is 36 lbs and 101 cm tall, which puts him at the 85th percentile for weight and 92nd for height. The doctor complemented Truman on his verbal skills and comprehension. She told me that she doesn't have conversations like she had with Truman with most three year olds. This doesn't surprise me. Truman has been saying the funniest things to us lately - like not to panic or he doesn't want us to disappoint him.
Oliver is 11lbs and 7oz and 60cm in length, so he is in the 53rd percentile for weight and 78th for length. I wonder if he will be on the taller side like his big brother? He did better than expected with his shots, the second needle Oliver was a little ticked off, I have never seen him so red!
Next week we are off to a specialist appointment to check on the boys' toes, they both have one toe on the same foot that curves inwards. We just want to make sure that there won't be any implcations in the future.
So whay have we been up to? We have been enjoying what we think will be the last few times in the pool. I can't believe how much Truman has improved over the summer. I am going to miss swimming and will be looking forward to hopefully a warmer summer next year.
On Wednesday we celebrated Wanda's birthday. It was grandma's wish to take Truman to Rainforest Cafe for her birthday dinner. Poor Truman got so frightened when there was a thunder storm, he was also convinced that the elephants were going to get him, so much so that he woke up in the middle of the night and told me the elephants were after him. Poor Truman.
